Week of September 8

Reminders:

2. Monday at 5:45- 7:30 is Open House!  Come and hear about all of the things your child is learning!  We will even have a short video!

The homework packet will go home on MONDAY.  Please do a sheet each night- and turn in on FRIDAY=)

 Just a reminder- your child will have homework each night for math also.  Please let them do the back of the math sheet for homework and make sure it gets turned back in the next day.

This week is exciting!  We will be learning about MAPS AND GLOBES, DIRECTIONS, and LANDFORMS!  We have concluded our time with the body and learned some great things!  Now its time for a little Geography!

In reading, we will be doing comprehension strategies and will be learning the sounds and spellings for L, O, and B.  We will review, have time to listen and write (dictation), and will be reading a lot of stories!  In math we are going to work on directions too!  We will be learning first, next, then, last and will be sequencing numbers.
