Homework: Please have your child do the BACK side of the math lesson sheet everyday and turn back in the following day for homework.  Spelling work for the week is due on FRIDAYS.

 This week:

Reading/Writing:  We will be learning our sounds and spellings for F, G, and J and DGE.  We will continue to talk about adjectives, learn new comprehension strategies, and continue dictation practice.  In Writer's workshop, we will be editing our stories and making a published piece!

Math:  We will be learning about pictographs, writing addition number stories, and ordering numbers.

We will continue our study in Geography and science with Inside the Earth as our next unit!  We will be learning about the layers of the earth, volcanoes, and different types of rocks!
