FIRST OF ALL……The First graders are FANTASTIC READERS!!!!!
Today in science we learned about volcanoes!
We started a volcano project!
We also learned about METAMORPHIC, IGNEOUS, and SEDIMENTARY rocks! We went on a rock hunt the last part of class and will get to use magnifying glasses tomorrow to sort and categorize them!
Turner is our resident expert in the field of rocks. He got to share a little bit about some fun "Gems" that he has!
