This week we will be making bracelets for the whole school. This is part of our PPR (Positive Peer Relations) project this month. We have focused on KINDNESS. The students will make kindness bracelets for all members of the school and then will deliver! We will also be doing some fun Halloween things and crafts, and then at the end of the week will begin learning about the MAYANS.
In math, we will be working closely on our math facts, spatial awareness with pattern blocks, numbering and ordering, time, money, and problem solving. The students are getting really good at knowing how to solve math problems!
In reading we will be learning about the CH and the TCH sounds and spellings. We will blend words, have dictated sentences to write down, focus on spelling, and then also review telling/asking sentences and grammatical errors. The students will write about fall in Writer's workshop and a favorite Halloween or Fall pastime.
Keep reading each night!
