MONDAY IS A SPECIAL CHAPEL FOR MLK DAY.  PLEASE WEAR FULL CHAPEL DRESS UNIFORM.  There will be no chapel on Tuesday- normal uniform is fine.

FRIDAY IS CONFERENCE DAY!  THERE IS NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS.

We will continue our unit with space.  We are concentrating mostly on planets this week and we are building our hallway for Core Knowledge night.  Come take a sneak peek- it is awesome!

In math we are working on counting money, patterns, add/subtraction facts, and word problems.

In reading we are working on dictation, reviewing blends, vowel patterns, writing what we hear, and most importantly, learning to read with fluency and expression.  Please continue to work on sight words as this helps build our vocabulary for being a strong reader!
