Week of March 2

Happy March!!!!!!!

1.  Picture day on Tuesday!  Please wear full chapel dress!

2.  Book orders due by Wednesday if you would like to order!  You may use your valentine coupon to get free books!

3.  Egypt project due Friday, March 6.  We will do presentations Friday morning!  

4.  Please make sure your child does his/her homework each night!

This week we will be finishing up Egypt!  It has been so much fun to build in the hallway!  We are looking forward to our accreditation visit on March 10! We will be learning about Heiroglyphics, Animal Gods, revisit Pharaohs, and have a small Egypt snack on Friday!  

In reading, we will continue to work on comprehending stories, both fiction and non fiction.  This week we will be reading a realistic fiction about how a seed grows.  Please have your child read this each night and answer the comprehension questions too.  We will be explaining to another friend what we learn!  In writer's workshop, we will continue to work on our chapter books.  YES!!!!!  THAT'S RIGHT!  We are making our OWN CHAPTER BOOKS!!!!!
