Reminders for week of Oct. 13

A note from Ms. Hughes…..

REMINDERS:

1.  MONDAY, OCTOBER 13

- We will be leaving at 9:30 to go to Crabtree Farms.  If you would like to go with us, please either meet us there or follow us as all first graders will be riding the St. Peter's school bus.  ALL students must wear St. Peter's spirit day t shirts, jeans/or khaki shorts if hot, and a St. Peter's or plain navy sweatshirt/jacket.  Students may bring a change of clothes in their backpack if they need to.  Also, STUDENTS WILL NEED TO PACK A LUNCH FOR THIS DAY! We will be having a picnic lunch at Crabtree Farms and then will come back to school by 1.

2.  TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14

-  This is a chapel day, but students can just wear regular uniforms on this day.  Please save the chapel dress for Thursday.

3.  THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16

-  Students will need to be in FULL CHAPEL DRESS.  (Ties included and nice dress shoes too).  Our Grandparents Day celebration will start at 10 and will end at 11:30.  If your child will be leaving with their grandparents, please write us a note to let us know!  This is also a half day!  We will be getting out of school at 11:30 to start FALL BREAK!  YAY!  Have a great one!

4.  NO SPELLING OR MATH HOMEWORK NEXT WEEK!  The only homework will be to read for 20 minutes each night and review sight words!

5. BOOK FAIR starts Friday, October 10- Thursday, October 16.  Come early and preview books or you may send money in with your child to purchase a book.  It is looking a bit like a castle in the library!  Check it out!

Thanks for having fabulous kids!  They are all working SO hard in all subjects and we are enjoying teaching them SO much!
